Hello, my name is John Michael Lauderdale. I am excited about beginning my first year at Oneonta High School, teaching alternative school and special education. I will also be coaching football and baseball.

I am a 2015 graduate of Cleveland High School. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Athens State University in 2020, and completed my Master's Degree in Special Education at the University of West Alabama in 2023. 

I began my career at Cleveland High School. I taught special education for 3 years, and coached varsity football and junior high basketball.

My wife, Madison Hutchens Lauderdale, is a graduate of OHS. 

I am looking forward to a great year. Go Redskins!
